October 17–19 // Mt. Fuji–Bunchgrass Connector // Oakridge, OR

We’ve been waiting a long time to say this…

THE CAMPOUT WORK PARTIES ARE BACK.

If you know, you know. And if you don’t, now’s your chance.

This isn’t just another weekend.

We’re building the Mt. FujiBunchgrass Connector: a trail over 20 years in the making.

That’s two decades of dreaming, planning, scouting, and vision.

Now it’s real. And you get to be part of the crew that makes it happen.

What’s Going Down:

Trail work on a legacy project

Campfire hangs + cold beer from our friends at Oakshire Brewing

We provide Dinner on Saturday night! Well earned!

Starry skies, fresh air, dirty hands, and loud laughs!

The kind of weekend you talk about for years…..

DETAILS:

WHEN: Oct 17–19 (arrive Friday evening)

Trailhead Directions:

From Oakridge, take Highway 58 east for about 4.5 miles

Turn right on Eagle Creek Rd (FS Road 5883)

Continue for about 8.5 miles — you'll see signs and flagging for camp. The road is in great shape (unless you’re in a slammed Civic with no shocks, you’re golden)

Important: There’s active thinning on the road during the day, get there Friday evening to steer clear of the logging ops. They are usually cleared out for the day by 4 o’clock.

Please note that it will be cold at night and possibly during the day, we will be at 5’500ft in October! We are in the Cascades so expect there to be rain, at some point!

Camping Gear:

Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad

Extra toilet paper (always)

LOTS of water, there is no potable water.

Cooking apparatuses and good food/snacks!

Work PPE:

Hard hat if you have one, we have one if you don’t!

Long Pants, Longs Sleeves, Sturdy Boots

Eye Protection

Gloves, multiples incase it’s wet!

Rain Gear, just incase!

Big love and gratitude to everyone who believed in this trail before a single tool hit dirt.

We’re here because you never gave up!

Spots are limited.

Bring your bike, your boots, and your best camp chair.

DM us to RSVP or get more details. Let’s go!
